Isabella Maserejian
Psychotherapist for Adolescents and Adults
Isabella's approach to therapy is integrative, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual. She combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help patients better understand themselves while also developing practical, effective tools for change. She works with patients to identify patterns, make sense of their experiences, and navigate challenges with greater clarity and intention. Isabella views therapy as a collaborative, evolving process and strives to create a space that feels both supportive and engaging, where patients can build insight, strengthen resilience, and be gently challenged toward meaningful, lasting growth.
Beyond her areas of special focus, Isabella is experienced in working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, trauma, grief, burnout, and relationship challenges, as well as personality, eating, and addictive disorders. She also supports patients navigating ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dissociative and psychotic disorders, chronic illness adjustment, sleep and somatic concerns, work and career stress, identity and existential questions, perfectionism, cultural and racial identity stress, and life transitions. Using an eclectic range of evidence-based approaches, she provides compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient she serves.
In addition to her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, Isabella holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston University, where she gained experience in both research and direct care within academic and community-based settings.
