Julia is a holistic therapist who is passionate about helping clients harness their strengths, build healthier relationships, recover from trauma, and live a more aligned life. She believes the key to an effective therapeutic relationship is trust, open communication, and collaboration.

In addition to a Psychodynamic approach, Julia pulls from theories including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family systems, and Client-Centered Therapy. Above all, however, she believes in tailoring her approach to each individual she works with and is committed to finding what works best for each client who enters the room.

Julia takes pride in creating a safe and empathic environment that allows clients to feel empowered and supported in their therapeutic journey. She believes in the power of relationships (whether they be romantic, friendships, or family), and the role they play in how we navigate life and develop emotionally. She aims to equip her clients with the tools to understand and learn from their lived experiences – with the goal of helping them walk away with a stronger sense of inner peace and authenticity.

Prior to her graduate studies, Julia worked as a leadership consultant, helping companies and teams work better together through organizational psychology-backed interventions. She believes her prior experience brings a unique perspective and sense of understanding to the therapy space. She also held various research positions ranging from social and clinical psychology to neuroscience labs. Currently, she tutors middle and high school students with executive functioning skills.

Julia is currently pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology from Harvard University.
