Talia Rosenberg, LMSW, is an integrative psychotherapist who works with a broad spectrum of individuals with mild to severe psychopathology. She is dedicated to the overall well-being of her patients, and employs an individualized, flexible, and holistic approach to therapy. 

Talia's treatment focuses on individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological challenges. Her interventions include a multitude of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Talia is also a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional. She draws from research in neuroscience to help patients combat their fears and anxieties through educating her patients with both helpful knowledge and specific strategies. 

Additionally, Talia specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, specifically binge-eating disorder, disordered eating and body image dissatisfaction. With the goal of guiding you to break free from diet-culture, Talia recognizes the challenge that comes with working towards food and body freedom in a world that normalizes disordered eating and thinness. Her approach involves empathy, curiosity and non-judgmental collaboration with her patients. Talia is in the process of becoming a Body Trust provider, a trauma informed, healing modality informed by Health at Every Size® Tenets, intuitive eating principles, shame resilience theory, motivational interviewing, and self-compassion theory.

Talia is also Gotham Psychotherapy's Internship Program Director. She serves as a liaison between Gotham Psychotherapy and local universities. Gotham Psychotherapy has relationships with Columbia University's Master of Education in Counseling Psychology program, and New York University's Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program. In addition to providing active leadership to interns through training and support, Talia ensures quality by providing mental health interns with an experience that will prepare them to be competent, well-rounded, mental health professionals.
