Laura is an empathetic and compassionate psychotherapist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being. Laura’s therapeutic practice draws from a diverse set of modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. This eclectic approach allows her to address a wide range of concerns, including trauma, addictions, substance use, anxiety disorders, and depression. Her professional experience spans inpatient and outpatient settings, corporate environments, and work with federal inmates to support their reintegration into society.
Before pursuing her Master of Social Work, Laura earned a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology and built a career in the corporate sector. She began at Cenovus Energy, where she co-owned the Leadership Development portfolio within the Organizational Development & Effectiveness team. She later advanced to MAYBERY, a global advisory services firm, where she applied performance psychology and business practices to foster performance excellence among corporate leaders and executives.
