Eugenia’s approach to counseling is dynamic and relational, grounded in her academic focus on psychoanalytic perspectives and informed by clinical experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She believes therapy is most effective when it addresses root causes—both individual and systemic—and explores the interplay between past and present. Eugenia is committed to cultivating a trauma-informed, collaborative space that honors each patient’s unique storyand strengths. She specializes in working with adults facing interpersonal and identity dysfunctions.

Prior to pursuing her Master of Education, Eugenia worked as a counselor on an inpatient psychiatric unitspecializing in eating disorders. In this role, she supported adults navigating complex, acute mental health challengesand comorbid diagnoses, including mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. During her three years in this position, she developed long-term therapeutic relationships, gained expertise in complex case management, and guided patients through acute crises. These experiences continue to inform her dedication to finding the best treatment fit for each individual and harnessing their personal wisdom in the pursuit of psychological healing.

Eugenia has a strong foundation in mental health counseling through her training at Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University, with minors in Human Services and Behavioral Neuroscience.
