Erin approaches therapy with warmth and curiosity, rooted in the belief that each person is the expert on their own life. Erin creates a safe, compassionate space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in their own time. Her collaborative approach and ability to draw on various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing allows her to support each client’s unique needs. Before coming to Gotham, Erin worked at an outpatient program supporting adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Erin is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, process trauma, and move through transitional moments.

Erin brings a deep understanding of the mind-body connection from her extensive work as a personal trainer at her own fitness company, MOVE by Erin West. She has helped countless individuals achieve their physical goals while also fostering healthy thought patterns and body acceptance. Erin holds a Bachelor of Music from Oklahoma City University and believes in the healing power of creative arts. She is currently working toward her Master’s of Mental Health Counseling at Manhattan University.
